For Max was written for Cassie's nephew Max, during the eight months she lived with his family. Piano became part of his bedtime routine, and this piece grew out of those quiet, everyday moments together.

This download includes the solo piano score and program notes for For Oscar, the first lullaby from Cassie To's debut album Heartsongs.

For Oscar was written for Cassie's nephew Oscar, composed during a joyful time when the family came together to welcome their first nephew and grandson. It captures the warmth and gratitude of that period — including the relief of being close again after so much time apart during lockdown.
